We got to Siiverstone and I was happy to be there because of my
injury that I picked up early in the season, which made me miss Snetterton, and I
was wanting to beat my last result at Knockhill but I knew it would be
hard because I was starting from 39th on the grid because it was just a re-race
from the cancelled round at Oulton Park.

In Free Practice 1 it was really hard for me because I had never ridden on a track like it before, it was really wide and flowing and very different to any other track on the calendar. It was hard to set the bike up because of the big flowing corners, the bike was turning right so I came in and made a few changes but it still did seem right, the front end was still pushing everywhere.
I was also braking far to early for all the corners but I still ended up 24th in the group.
Free Practice 2 was also hard because we couldnt find a set up and we had little track time.
The bike still was turning and I wasn't getting in many laps at all, so we had to make some big changes to the bike to help it sit in the corners. The bike felt really good in the 8 min warm up before the race and I knocked two seconds off straight away.
For the race itself we were starting second to last on the grid but I was confident with the bike and I wanted to beat my 24th place at Knockhill really badly. So I just put my head down and fought my way through the pack and got 18th which I was over the moon with.
