We got to up to Knockhill and it was nice weather so I went
for a few laps on my pushbike and liked the look of the short track,
because I knew I would get loads of laps in free practice.
I went out with a open mind in Free Practice and aimed to be in the Top 20 in my group and I was just trying to stay out on the track to get myself familiarised with the track and I ended up doing the most laps
of anyone, and the bike was feeling pretty good. I was trying to ride more smoothly and not brake as hard into the corners, and I ended up 18th at the end of the session which I was happy with.
In first qualifying I did a 53.17 for 13th and in second qualifying I knew I had to knock a second off to qualify for the main race, I did that but so did everyone else! but I ended up 17th and qualified 30th overall which meant I would start 4th in the shoot out race.
In the shoot out race I started from 4th on the front row, and I got the hole shot and soon had a two second lead and then the race got red flagged, I started on pole for the restart and it was a sprint to the
finish flag with only 7 laps so I just went as fast as I could and I pulled it out of the bag.
So I was starting 26th on the grid which is my best qualifying to date, the main race wasn't too good because of the rain and i was starting in the middle of the pack and it was hard to see in the weather but
I got past two people to finish 24th which was my best finish so far.
